Prof. Ir. Rinaldy Dalimi, M.Sc., PhD is a distinguished Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia, specializing in energy management, renewable energy, and energy policy. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Indonesia, followed by a Master’s degree from Michigan State University (USA) and a PhD from Virginia Tech (USA). He also completed advanced national leadership training at LEMHANAS. With a career spanning academia, government, and industry, Prof. Dalimi has served as a Member of the National Energy Council of Indonesia (2009–2019), Member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Indonesia, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Head of Energy Studies. His earlier industry experience includes working as an Electrical Engineer at PT. Caltex P.I. A respected educator and researcher, he has taught various master's-level courses and authored more than 100 national and international papers, along with the influential book Towards the Renewable Energy Era, widely used in energy policy and management studies.
