Benben Jiang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, where he currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Systems Engineering. Prior to his current position, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2016 to 2020. He received the B.S. degree in automation from Zhejiang University in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Tsinghua University in 2015. His research interests include artificial intelligence driven computational energy methodology and its application, in which he has published more than sixty peer-reviewed articles including Nature Energy, Joule, Nature Communications, and Automatica. Dr. Jiang is a recipient of Informatics/Computer Science Prize from the Dimitris Chorafas Foundation, Switzerland, and received the Best Paper Award at the 7th International Conference on Industrial Artificial Intelligence.
